Jewel Osco Data Breach - August 16

On August 15, 2014, Jewel-Osco and Cub Foods announced a data breach that might have exposed credit and debit card information of customers who shopped at their stores between June 22, 2014 and July 17, 2014.

At this point, it has not been determined if any cardholder data was in fact compromised. While we do not yet know the extent of the data breach, we are monitoring this situation closely, and will alert you as pertinent new information arises.

If and when it has been determined data has been compromised, Winfield Community will notify those customers that may have been impacted by this breach when it becomes available to us. At that time we will then issue new cards.

As a precaution, if you have shopped at Jewel-Osco or one of the other stores mentioned in the news reports during these dates mentioned above, we ask that you monitor your account and transactions carefully over the next few weeks.
