Thomas Castronovo, Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Board
Thomas Castronovo has served as a director and executive officer of WCB and the Bank since April, 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Castronovo served as a managing director and west suburban region head for The PrivateBank from 2008 through October 2009. Prior to that, he served as chief marketing officer from 2005 through 2008 and managing director and director of marketing from 1999 through 2008 of PrivateBancorp Inc. While at The PrivateBank, Mr. Castronovo established, managed and grew two west suburban offices that had approximately $600 million in assets in 2009. Mr. Castronovo also served as founder and chief executive officer of Towne Square Financial Corporation from January through July 1999, president and chief executive officer of Fox Valley Bank from 1995 through 1999, vice president of business and professional banking of Citibank from 1994 through 1995 and held various positions, including vice president and team leader of corporate banking. at Old Kent Bank from 1982 through 1994. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Knox College in 1981, his Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Indiana University-Kelly School of Business in 1982 and his Certified Financial Planner designation from the College for Financial Planning in 1988. Mr. Castronovo has been working in the Kane County Market for over 20 years and has been an integral part of the civic and charitable landscape for most of that time. Mr. Castronovo has served as past president of many organizations including The Downtown St. Charles Partnership Inc. where he remains as Board Member Emeritus, the St.Charles Kiwanis Club, and the St. Charles Chamber Ambassadors. He is a former Board Member of the Glenwood School for Boys and Girls, Neighborhood Improvement Association, Inc, Fox Valley General Contractors Association, St. Charles Chamber of Commerce, St. Peter Parish, and served as Board Member and Treasurer of the St. Charles Country Club and the Illinois Chamber Symphony. Mr. Castronovo received the City of St. Charles' highest honor for civic involvement in 2001 and currently serves on the Boards of Friendship Senior Options Inc., Friendship Village of Schaumburg, Friendship Village of Mill Creek in Geneva and Friendship Senior Services Foundation. Mr. Castronovo has been recognized for his marketing work with 17 Regional, National and International Marketing Awards since 2002 for marketing & communications excellence including annual reports, website/e-commerce, campaigns and collateral, including awards from the American Bankers Association, the League of American Communications Professionals, the National Investor Relations Institute, Business Marketing Association, ARC/MerComm, Mercury, Sappi, Printing Industries of America and Chicago Financial Advertisers.

Ralph Treccia has been engaged full time in organizing and operating WCB and the Bank since the inception of the idea to form the bank in November 1998. While also serving as Senior Lender, he had guided the Bank and WCB and has succeeded in building a well respected institution with an excellent base of relationships. Prior to that time, he served as senior vice president managing the commercial lenders of the commercial real estate lending division at LaSalle Bank FSB, Chicago, Illinois from April 1996 to October 1998. Prior to working at LaSalle Bank FSB, Mr. Treccia was senior vice president and managed the lending department for Suburban Bank, Elmhurst, Illinois from October 1995 to March 1996. From June 1986 to October 1995, Mr. Treccia was Vice President and manager of one of the commercial lending divisions of Old Kent State Bank (formerly Elmhurst National Bank). During that time he served on the financial committee of the Elmhurst Economic Development Counsel and was on a fundraising committee for Elmhurst College. Mr. Treccia received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Illinois in 1977.
Peggy A. Crosby, Senior Vice President
Peggy A. Crosby started her banking career in 1979 with Cragin Federal Savings & Loan, located downtown in Wheaton, Illinois. LaSalle Bank later bought Cragin Federal, where she stayed and worked as an Account Representative until she joined Winfield Community Bank in May of 2001. At present, Ms. Crosby is Senior Vice President in charge of Deposit Operations.
